Angus Climate Hub aims to support and inspire, building connections and sharing resources as we believe that working together in making changes is the way to a better future.
We provide communities with resources to understand how they can become more sustainable by using active travel and developing energy efficiency. We work with community growing projects in Angus to ensure that everyone can eat well, plentiful, and from local sources. Our priorities for the land and nature in Angus is to improve its quality, create more space for wildlife, reduce pollution levels and foster population recovery.
We promote sharing, repairing & re-using by supporting community projects which reduce waste. Small amounts of funding is available from the Angus Climate Hub to to support communities with training, access and travel. In the aftermath of a storm in Winter 2023 which devastated our communities, we began working in partnership on the Storm Angus project to collect experiences of the people of Angus to create a community record of extreme weather events.
