The Ayrshire Climate Hub is here to help communities across Ayrshire, so we support individuals, communities and organisations in the region.

The Ayrshire Climate Hub is here to help communities across Ayrshire adapt to the impacts of climate change and support local nature and biodiversity.

To do this, we offer SEED Funding of up to £2,500 for community groups to deliver projects that focus on climate adaptation & biodiversity action or £1,000 for climate mitigation projects.

Through our delivery partners, and links to local agencies and local authorities, our Partnerships Officer and wider team are working hard to map local climate action and connect to local community groups. We are working with Not 1 More to showcase their adaptation climate mapping in Ayrshire. It’s a great tool to understand climate action work being done in Ayrshire and how to get involved.

Our bi-monthly Community Climate Forum is an opportunity for groups and individuals from across the region interested in community climate action to come together. We hear from a range of guest speakers and offer a space for networking, peer-to-peer learning and sharing best practice.

We celebrate and highlight community led climate action at our Partnership Project Showcases. If you’re new to community climate action come along, learn about what’s going on in Ayrshire already, be inspired and take away some ideas on how to get started in your own group and local community.
